Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will restart direct weekly flights between Islamabad and Beijing on October 30, reconnecting the capitals of Pakistan and China.
The Islamabad–Beijing–Islamabad service will operate every Friday. The airline said the route will offer passengers a direct option and cut the time and inconvenience of indirect travel.
PIA said the flights will serve students, families, business travellers, tourists and members of the Pakistani and Chinese communities. The airline expects the service to support people-to-people exchanges and strengthen commercial, tourism, educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
Through cooperation with Air China and Shenzhen Airlines, passengers flying via Beijing will be able to connect to more than 25 cities across China.
PIA said it remains committed to providing safe, reliable and regular air services between the two countries, citing growing travel demand. Tickets can be booked through PIA offices, authorised travel agents and major online booking platforms.
