In recent news, Facebook has officially joined the $1 trillion club in the recent market close. As of now, the company’s market cap is at $1.008 trillion according to Yahoo Finance.
This was expected as the company has made huge profit not only through its parent platform Facebook but also from its divisions i.e. Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Oculus. Despite making it to the $1 trillion milestone, it is one of the rare companies to make it this far as the company started in the 2000s while tech giants such as Google started of fin the 90’s.
As of now, Facebook is currently working on new features and products to capture more of the commerce ecosystem. Moreover, the company looks ahead to more immersive ways to capture businesses for their respective platforms apart from mere advertisements.
