From Volunteer to President: A New Chapter at OPEN Islamabad

The Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN) Islamabad Chapter has announced the election of Sidra Jalil as its next President. Ms Sidra Jalil will serve as President-Elect during the current transition period, officially assuming leadership of the chapter on April 6, 2026.

A seasoned tech strategist with over 15 years of experience, Sidra brings a sophisticated blend of corporate leadership and public-sector expertise to the role. Sidra is the Founder of InspireMill, a venture dedicated to introducing digital tools to empower rural women and youth. Her career includes high-level tenures at TikTok, where she led AI-driven platform safety and policy for South Asia, and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), where she spearheaded national marketing strategies for the country’s IT sector.

Sidra Jalil said:
