Galaxy Note 10+ to support 45W charging, but you have to buy a separate charger for that

We are just a few weeks away from the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 but the rumors showing the model’s specifications are still arriving. The latest rumors of Note series flagship has revealed that the Note 10+ variant will support 45W fast charging technology but the adopter wouldn’t come with accessories box.

As we are certain that Note 10+ new feature will put the upcoming smartphone in direct competition with Huawei 30 Pro’s 40W SuperCharge feature and Oppo’s 50W SuperVOOC solution, which only takes seven minutes to hit 50% charge.

But the major drawback of this fast charging is that you have to buy a separate 45W charger if you want to take advantage of this technology. A reliable leaker by the named Ice Universe has revealed in a Twitter post, that Samsung will only provide a 25W charger inside the box with Note 10+, which is an improvement over the 15W chargers that come with the Galaxy S10 smartphones. But not having a 45W charger with this technology will be a major disappointment for the fans.

Galaxy Note10+ supports 45w wired charging and 20w wireless wireless charging. Samsung will release related chargers. However, the charging head provided in Samsung packaging box is 25w.

The tweet also reveals that the South Korean tech giant will release compatible chargers if anyone wanted to use the 45W charging feature. As far as the standard Note 10 device is concerned it will not come with 45W fast charging support, which is not too much of a surprise as the standard version also lacks the SD card slot which will be featured in Note 10+.

We will get confirmation about all these rumors when the devices will be launched on August 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York.
