Published by

In observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Government of Pakistan has declared Thursday, February 5, 2026, a public holiday. As a result, all NADRA offices across the country will remain closed on this day. This announcement affects regular office hours as well as night shifts, which will remain closed from midnight of February 4 until 8:00 am on February 6.

Officials confirmed that NADRA services will continue to be available through the Pak-ID mobile application, ensuring citizens can still access essential services during the holiday. For assistance, users may contact NADRA’s helpline at 1777 or visit the official website .

Kashmir Solidarity Day is observed annually in Pakistan to express support for the people of Indian-administered Kashmir. Government offices, educational institutions, and organizations mark the occasion with events and public awareness campaigns highlighting Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue. The day also serves as a reminder for institutions to adjust their schedules accordingly.

Even with office closures, NADRA encourages citizens to utilize digital services such as the Pak-ID mobile app for ID verification, passport applications, and other essential services.

“We urge citizens to plan their visits in advance and take advantage of our mobile platform to avoid inconvenience,” an official stated.

This closure highlights the growing reliance on digital services in Pakistan, as citizens increasingly access essential government services online. NADRA has been expanding its mobile and online services, ensuring continuity even during public holidays.
