The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced its Research Awards for 2026-27 and invited applications from Pakistani researchers and scholars across the country. The awards aim to recognize research excellence, encourage intellectual development, and promote high-impact academic publications.
The awards will be presented in three categories: Best Researcher, Best Young Researcher, and Best Publication. Applicants must meet HEC’s eligibility requirements, including plagiarism and previous-award conditions. For the Best Publication category, eligible books or research articles must meet specific publication, authorship, residency, and citation requirements.
Applications must be submitted through HEC’s online research portal, while incomplete or late submissions will not be considered. The deadline to apply is October 31, 2026.
