Multiple leaks about the upcoming Honor Magic 9 series are building interest ahead of its launch. The latest report suggests a major battery upgrade across the lineup.
The source claims the Honor Magic 9 series will include three phones. All three models may feature 8,000 mAh batteries. This would mark a notable jump over the previous generation. For comparison, the Honor Magic 8 series had smaller batteries. The Magic 8 featured a 7,000mAh unit. Meanwhile, the Magic8 Pro RSR came with a 7,200mAh battery.
Interestingly, this is not the first time such a capacity has been mentioned. Earlier leaks from March also pointed to an 8,000 mAh battery for the standard Magic 9 model.
Along with battery improvements, display and camera upgrades are also expected. All three phones are said to feature 1.5K resolution OLED screens. In addition, a 200MP main camera is reportedly in development for the series.
The camera system may also include advanced image stabilization. ARRI video features are also being discussed in early leaks. However, these details are still unconfirmed.
Previous Honor Magic flagships usually launched in October. So, the Magic 9 series is likely to follow a similar timeline. More leaks are expected as the launch window gets closer.
