Honor may soon expand its Win series with several new gaming-focused smartphones. A fresh leak from China has now revealed key details about the upcoming Win 2 lineup.
The top-end model, expected to launch as the Win 2, could feature a large 6.89-inch display. The screen will reportedly support “2K+” resolution and an impressive 185Hz refresh rate. The device may also use an LTPS panel.
The phone is expected to run Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. However, the leak does not confirm whether Honor will use the standard version or the Pro variant. Honor could also bring a massive battery upgrade this year. According to the rumor, the Win 2 may pack a battery with at least 10,000mAh capacity. The company is also said to be improving the camera setup compared to the previous model.
Meanwhile, the Win 2 RT is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The leak also hints at a possible third model in the lineup. This version may use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and offer a “1.5K” display with a very high refresh rate.
For now, Honor has not confirmed any launch plans for these devices. Still, the Win 2 series is unlikely to debut before September. Qualcomm is expected to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset around that time. As a result, more leaks and details about the Win 2 family will likely appear in the coming months.
