Huawei introduced several new devices at its major event in Munich, including the global debut of the nova16s smartphone series. However, smartphones and wearables were not the only products announced. The company also brought the MatePad Pro 12 (2026) to international markets after unveiling it in China last month.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 12 (2026) features a 12-inch OLED display with a 3,036 × 1,952px resolution. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate and reaches 1,600 nits of peak brightness. Huawei is also offering a PaperMatte Display version with an anti-glare coating.
Huawei has introduced two optional accessories for the new tablet. These include the M-Pencil Pro stylus and the Glide Keyboard cover. The accessories are designed to expand the tablet’s productivity and creative capabilities.
The MatePad Pro 12 (2026) measures just 4.7 mm thick and weighs 454 grams. Inside, the tablet uses Huawei’s Kirin T93 chipset. It comes with 12GB RAM and offers either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The tablet runs Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.3 software. Meanwhile, battery capacity varies depending on the market. The EU version includes a 9,760 mAh battery, while models sold elsewhere feature a larger 10,400mAh cell.
Despite the difference in battery capacity, every version supports 66W wired charging. Huawei will offer the MatePad Pro 12 (2026) in blue and space gray colors. The company has not yet shared pricing or availability details for global markets.
