Huawei drops mobile prices in Pakistan

Huawei has announced a decrease in mobile prices in Pakistan on some of their smartphones. The devices affected by this price drop are P8 Lite, P9 Lite, Honor 5X, Y5 II 3G, and the Y6 II LTE.

New and old prices

The old and new official prices of these devices are:

  • P8 Lite
    • Old price: PKR 22,000
    • New price: PKR 21,000
  • P9 Lite
    • Old price: PKR 28,500
    • New price: PKR 25,900
  • Honor 5X
    • Old price: PKR 25,000
    • New price: PKR 23,000
  • Y5 II 3G
    • Old price: PKR 13,500
    • New price: PKR 12,800
  • Y6 II LTE
    • Old price: PKR 19,900
    • New price: PKR 19,299

The price drop is undoubtedly the result of the natural passage of time and introduction of newer models. Still, if someone is interested in buying these devices from a retail store, they can do so and save some cash now.
