Huawei has launched a budget-friendly device, Honor 6C, priced at €229 (Rs. 25,600).

The mid-ranger has lower specifications as compared to its sibling, Honor 6X, which was introduced earlier this year at Consumer Electronics Show. Equipped with dual-camera, Honor 6X was made available in Pakistan for 28,499 Pakistani Rupees.

Honor 6C will be offered in gray, silver, and gold color options.

Huawei Honor 6C is a mid-ranger with following specs:

  • Display: 5-inch 720p touchscreen with 2.5D curved glass on top
  • Main Camera: 13 MP f/2.2 rear camera with 1080p video recording
  • Selfie Camera: 5 MP f/2.2 selfie camera
  • Storage: 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage
  • Processor: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435
  • CPU: Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53
  • GPU: Adreno 505
  • OS: Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Emotion UI 4.1

With only a small price difference, Honor 6X offers much better specifications as compared to Honor 6C. Honor 6X is 5.5-inches device with dual 12 MP + 2 MP primary camera, capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.

Huawei has also launched ‘Honor Beta program’ that lets you trial pre-release software and hardware from the company, in exchange for “candid feedback”.

Huawei Honor 6C will be available in Europe by the end of this month. We will inform you about the availability of this device in Pakistan as soon as the date is confirmed.
