Huawei’s Enjoy 70X Premium Arrives With Kirin 8000 and Satellite Messaging

Huawei has added another device to its mid-range lineup in China, introducing the Enjoy 70X Premium just days before the Mate 80 series is set to arrive. The new model keeps the familiar design of the original Huawei Enjoy 70X released earlier this year. Still, it delivers a stronger chipset and fresh color choices to push the series forward.

The Premium edition now runs on the octa-core Kirin 8000, a notable step up from the standard model. Huawei pairs the chip with 8GB of RAM and offers storage options up to 512GB. The phone also supports satellite messaging, so users can send texts or images even without network coverage.

Huawei has kept the large 6.78-inch AMOLED curved display, which delivers a Full HD Plus resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen includes a pill-shaped cutout for the 8MP selfie camera and integrates an in-display fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking.

The rear camera setup remains simple, featuring a 50MP main sensor along with a 2MP depth unit. Power comes from a 6,100mAh battery that supports 40W wired charging. The device ships with HarmonyOS 4.2 and includes Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and dual-band Wi-Fi.

Huawei is selling the Enjoy 70X Premium in Obsidian Black, Sand Gold, and Starry Blue. The 8GB and 256GB versions cost CNY 1,899, which is about 265 dollars. The 8GB and 512GB models are priced at CNY 2,199, or roughly 310 dollars. Buyers in China can already order the phone through Huawei’s Vmall store.
