The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power shutdown on Friday across several areas due to ongoing development work by the district administration.
According to IESCO, electricity supply in parts of Islamabad City Circle will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm on the Service Road, Sohan, Highway, Zia Masjid and Iqbal Town feeders.
In Rawalpindi City Circle, the Fazaia feeder will remain without power from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. In Attock Circle, the Col Sher Khan feeder will face a shutdown from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
IESCO said the temporary outages are necessary to facilitate development projects, including flyovers, underpasses, new 11kV feeders, road widening and related infrastructure work.
The company apologised to consumers for the inconvenience and advised them to check the shutdown schedule on its official website and social media platforms. Consumers can also contact the IESCO helpline at 118 for further information.
