iPhone 18 Pro to Feature Smaller Screen Hole Punch and Transparent Rear Design

Apple’s next-generation iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max could feature a redesigned front camera system with a smaller hole-punch and an under-display Face ID setup, according to new leaks.

The report also suggests subtle design changes to the screen shape, likely referring to adjustments in the curvature of the corners. Both the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to include a main camera with a variable aperture, while the layout of the camera island will reportedly stay the same.

One of the most striking rumors claims the lower portion of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max’s rear panel will feature a transparent design. The concept appears similar to Nothing’s signature style, although Apple is unlikely to acknowledge any such influence.

In another leak, the iPhone 18 Pro Max may include a steel shell surrounding its battery, a first for the lineup.

While these details sound intriguing, they remain unconfirmed. Apple is still about 10 months away from unveiling the iPhone 18 series, leaving plenty of time for more leaks and reports to emerge.
