Islamabad district administration has re‑imposed restrictions on business timings, ordering shops, markets, and malls to close daily at 8:00 PM.
Restaurants, tandoors, grocery stores, bakeries, meat vendors, fruit sellers, and vegetable outlets must shut operations by 10:00 PM under the new directive.
Marriage halls, marquees, and all commercial venues hosting festive events are required to close by 10:00 PM, including those held on private premises.
The notification, issued late Sunday night by the district magistrate, confirmed the revised timings will take effect today, Monday, and continue until further orders.
