Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) has opened bookings for two new electrified Kia SUVs in Pakistan, the Sportage L Hybrid and the Sorento Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), expanding the hybrid and electric vehicle lineup in the country.
The Sportage L Hybrid is being offered in both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants. The Sorento PHEV joins the existing Sorento 3.5L V6 and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) models, giving customers a wider range of powertrain options to choose from.
LMC said the Sportage L Hybrid brings together advanced hybrid technology, improved driving dynamics and bold exterior styling, with the FWD and AWD variants designed to suit different customer needs.
The Sorento PHEV, according to the company, adds electric driving range to the lineup while offering premium comfort, intelligent technology features and added versatility for family use.
Partial booking amounts have been set at Rs2 million for the Sportage FWD HEV, Rs2.5 million for the Sportage AWD HEV, and Rs3 million for the Sorento AWD PHEV.
Final retail prices will be confirmed once the government clarifies the applicable federal sales tax on these vehicles, the company said. Bookings can be made through authorised Kia dealerships across Pakistan.
