The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has increased the convenience allowance for its employees by 50 percent, with the new rates taking effect from July 1, 2026.
The KP Finance Department issued a notification announcing the increase, stating that all government employees from Grade 1 to Grade 20 and above will benefit from the revised allowance.
Under the new structure, employees in Grade 1 to 4 will see their monthly convenience allowance rise from Rs1,785 to Rs2,677. Employees in Grade 5 to 10 will now receive Rs2,898 per month, up from the previous rate.
The notification further states that employees in Grade 11 to 15 will receive a monthly allowance of Rs4,284, while officers in Grade 16 to 20 and above will be paid Rs7,500 per month.

Separately, the Sindh cabinet has also approved an increase in the convenience allowance for provincial government employees. The revised rates apply to employees in Grade 1 to 16.
