Leak Reveals Iphone Fold Display Sizes Resolutions And Camera Details

Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone, possibly named iPhone Fold, is inching closer to reality, and fresh leaks have unveiled key display specifications that are turning heads. According to insider tipster yeux1122, the device will boast a 7.76-inch internal display with a resolution of 2,713 x 1,920 pixels, paired with a crease-free design and an under-display camera — a first for an Apple product.

Borrowing cues from Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold lineup, which has long employed under-display camera tech, Apple seems to have prioritized a seamless screen experience by eliminating any notches or punch holes from the main panel. Industry sources confirm Samsung will supply these high-end panels, with insiders noting Apple’s strict emphasis on quality over cost during supplier selection.

Complementing the expansive inner screen, the iPhone Fold will also feature a 5.49-inch external display with a 2,088 x 1,422 resolution. Unlike the inner screen, this cover display will have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, possibly even housing the Dynamic Island for quick interactions. Leakers also suggest a 4:3 aspect ratio for the internal screen, which is ideal for media consumption and multitasking.

In a surprising design decision, the iPhone Fold may skip Face ID altogether. Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes Apple is opting for a Touch ID sensor integrated into the power button, aiming to conserve internal space and maintain the device’s slim profile, rumored to be just 4.5mm when open and 9mm when folded.

Apple appears to be pulling out all the stops, including a titanium frame and a specially engineered liquid metal hinge from Dongguan EonTec, to minimize screen creases and enhance durability. Battery life is another key focus area, with speculation pointing toward a high-density battery that can support all-day usage despite the larger screens.

Although the official launch isn’t expected until late 2026, mass production may begin as early as the end of 2025. Pricing is expected to fall between $2,100 and $2,300, placing the iPhone Fold firmly in the premium category, targeting early adopters and tech enthusiasts.

With Apple reportedly planning to manufacture over 15 million units annually, the iPhone Fold might redefine the foldable phone landscape and set new design, display, and durability standards.
