Master Changan Unveils 3 Brands & 11 New Models at PAPS 2025

Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) made headlines at the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2025 on November 15. The company revealed Pakistan’s largest lineup of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) under its premium EV brand, Deepal. The showcase introduced a new brand philosophy, “Moving the New Generation”, which reflects Deepal’s focus on intelligent, sustainable, and emotionally connected mobility.

Deepal S05: Pakistan’s First CKD REEV SUV

At the centre of the announcement stood the Deepal S05, Pakistan’s first CKD Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV). The premium C-segment SUV combines electric driving freedom with long-distance confidence. It is co-developed with CATL, the world’s top battery manufacturer, and Huawei.

The S05 is built on the EPA1 Pure Electric Platform. It delivers a combined range of over 1,000 km while offering a 100% electric driving experience. Klaus Zyciora, former Global Design Chief at Volkswagen Group, designed the SUV with spacecraft-inspired styling, frameless doors, and a smart, premium interior.

Moreover, the S05 offers the longest wheelbase in its segment. It provides 23% more cabin space than a typical C-segment SUV. It also features a Zero Gravity co-pilot seat for added comfort. The vehicle includes 20+ L2 ADAS features such as Remote Straight In & Out Parking (RSIO).

Master Changan launched the S05 at an aggressive price of PKR 9,999,000, disrupting the local EV market. Bookings are now open nationwide at all Changan and Deepal dealerships.

Master Changan Also Unveiled K50 Hunter & E07

Master Changan also unveiled two additional Deepal models. The Deepal K50 Hunter, the world’s first REEV pickup truck, brings a new dimension to the pickup segment. It uses a 2.0L Turbocharged Blue Whale range extender and a dual-motor 4×4 system. The truck offers a 700–850 km range while delivering a quieter and smoother ride than conventional diesel pickups. Customer bookings will open in Q1 2026.

Meanwhile, the company showcased the Deepal E07, an ultra-luxury E-segment SUV. It introduces a new Multi-Truck Transformer concept, allowing the SUV to convert into a pickup. It features a dual-motor AWD system with 590 HP and accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Additionally, it offers Air Suspension and Zero Gravity seats, blending performance with comfort.

Ultra-Premium Avatr Brand Makes Its Pakistan Debut

Master Changan also introduced the Avatr brand in Pakistan. Co-developed by Changan, Huawei, and CATL, Avatr represents the top tier of futuristic electric mobility. The company confirmed that Avatr 11 will launch soon.

Speaking at the event, Danial Malik, CEO of Master Changan Motors Limited, said the company is driving a new mindset that reimagines mobility in Pakistan. He added that Master Changan will bring three brands, Changan, Deepal, and Avatr, and 11 new vehicles to the market over the next two years. He emphasised that innovations like the Deepal S05 REEV, Hunter K50 REEV pickup, and Avatr 11 will help bridge the gap between conventional and electric mobility.
