MG Motors Pakistan has introduced the MG HS ICE, a petrol-powered version of its second-generation HS SUV, giving Pakistani buyers an alternative to the hybrid variants.
The new MG HS ICE is priced at an introductory Rs. 8,799,999, while bookings are now open with a Rs. 1.5 million booking payment.
The MG HS ICE is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 165 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
The SUV measures 4,655 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,664 mm in height. It features a 2,765 mm wheelbase and 225/55 R19 tires.
The new SUV comes equipped with seven airbags and a range of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It also features a 360-degree camera with a transparent chassis view, providing drivers with improved visibility while maneuvering.
Inside, the MG HS ICE features a 12.3-inch infotainment display paired with an eight-speaker sound system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also supported.
Other features include heated front seats, wireless smartphone charging, a panoramic sunroof, rear privacy glass, heated side mirrors, a boneless front wiper, and a memory function for the driver’s seat.
The driver’s seat gets six-way electric adjustment with four-way electric lumbar support, while the front passenger seat offers four-way electric adjustment.
The MG HS ICE will be available in five exterior colors: York White, Black Pearl, Flare Red, Clever Grey, and Cashmere Silver.
Customers will also receive 12 months of free MG iSmart access. The connected-car system allows owners to access selected vehicle functions and interact with the SUV through a smartphone.
MG Motors Pakistan has announced an introductory price of Rs. 8,799,999 for the MG HS ICE. Following the introductory period, the price is expected to increase to Rs. 8,999,000.
Bookings are currently open, with customers required to pay Rs. 1,500,000 to reserve the vehicle.
The launch expands the MG HS lineup in Pakistan and provides customers with another option for a conventional petrol-powered SUV alongside the existing hybrid models.
