Motorola is preparing the next generation of its foldable phones with the upcoming Razr 70. The device has now been certified for sale in the UAE by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, or TDRA, under the model number XT2657-8.
Earlier, TDRA also approved the Razr 70 Ultra, which carries the model number XT2655-1. These certifications suggest that both devices are getting closer to an official launch.
No specifications have been revealed yet for either phone. However, if Motorola follows its usual release pattern, we could start seeing leaks and official announcements around April.
According to the source, based on past naming trends, the Razr 70 may arrive in North America as the Razr 2026. Its larger sibling, the Razr 70 Ultra, could be sold there as the Razr Ultra 2026.
For now, the certifications confirm one thing: Motorola’s new foldable phones are coming, and more details should appear in the coming months.
