Motorola’s Upcoming Book-Style Foldable Is Reportedly Called Razr Fold

Motorola appears ready to expand its foldable lineup beyond the Razr clamshell. A leaked internal Lenovo presentation suggests the company is working on its first book-style foldable smartphone, expected to be called the Motorola Razr Fold. The device is reportedly planned for launch later this year.

According to the source, who shared slides from a confidential Lenovo briefing. The presentation highlights several upcoming Lenovo and Motorola products. Among them is a clear reference to the Motorola Razr Fold, confirming its existence for the first time.

However, the leaked material stops short of naming a specific launch date. It only points to a release window later this year. Even so, industry watchers believe Motorola could reveal the Razr Fold at CES 2026, given the timing.

The slide also hints at what Motorola is planning for the device. It mentions “brilliant displays,” built-in AI features, and what it calls an advanced, boundary-breaking camera system. Motorola has not explained these claims yet. Still, the wording suggests a focus on premium hardware and smarter software.

More details should surface as the launch window gets closer. Until then, the Razr Fold remains one of Motorola’s most closely watched upcoming products.
