NADRA Introduces Two-Shift System at Karachi Registration Center

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced extended operating hours at its Shahrah-e-Quaideen Registration Center in Karachi, aiming to provide greater convenience and faster services to citizens.

According to NADRA officials, the Shahrah-e-Quaideen center will operate in two shifts starting December 22. The morning shift will run from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, while the evening shift will continue from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm, keeping the facility open for 14 hours daily.

Officials said the decision was taken to reduce overcrowding and make registration services more accessible, especially for citizens who are unable to visit NADRA offices during standard working hours due to professional or personal commitments.

NADRA added that extended timings are part of broader efforts to improve service delivery and ensure smoother processing of identity-related services in major urban centers.
