The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a procedure allowing applicants to resubmit identity document applications rejected during quality control (QC) without paying an additional fee.
Applicants who receive a “QC Rejected” status after submitting an application at a NADRA Registration Centre or through the PakID mobile app can visit their nearest NADRA office to complete the required formalities. Once the process is completed, NADRA will resubmit eligible applications under the Executive category free of charge.
Overseas Pakistanis who applied for a National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) or Pakistan Origin Card (POC) through PakID can follow a separate procedure if they live in countries without a NADRA centre. They must submit a complaint through NADRA’s official complaint portal. After the authority completes the required process, a new application will appear in the “Applications” section of their PakID account and receive free Executive-category processing.
The facility aims to help applicants resolve QC rejections and continue their identity document applications without paying an additional processing fee.
