New Electric Car Launched In Pakistan For Just Pkr 3 9m Worth The Hype

Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market has welcomed a new entrant with the launch of the BAW Brumby, a compact electric hatchback introduced by Ramza. Originally manufactured by Beijing Auto Works (BAW), the Brumby is designed to offer an affordable and efficient commuting solution for urban residents and small families.



The five-door hatchback comes with seating for four passengers and compact dimensions, making it well-suited for navigating congested city roads. The BAW Brumby vehicle dimensions are as follows: 3,532 millimeters in length, 1,498 millimeters in width, and 1,605 millimeters in height. Its wheelbase is 2,275 millimeters.  The vehicle’s traction performance and stability are enhanced by the 1,290 mm track bases that are dispersed between the front and rear areas.

The system of the BAW Brumby is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous (PMS) motor, which is capable of producing a maximal power output of 25 kW while maintaining a rated power of 15 kW.  The EV can achieve velocities of up to 100 km/h and has a company-claimed range of 220 km with a single charge.

The vehicle is equipped with a range of modern features, including:

  • Engine Start-Stop System
  • Headlight Leveling
  • Parking Sensors
  • Keyless Entry
  • Side-View Mirror Controls
  • Two-Tone Interior

The storage capacity of the Brumby at 1.5 feet proves sufficient to accommodate daily groceries and small travel bags thus making it functional for regular trips.

The BAW Brumby comes with a pricing tag of PKR 3.8 million (38 lacs). This electric vehicle seeks competition within the entry-level segment to provide a sustainable cost-effective commuting option in Pakistan.
