OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus 16 will feature a 165Hz display globally. A new leak now provides more details about the upcoming flagship. The leak comes from the source on Weibo. It reportedly reveals most of the phone’s key specifications ahead of its launch.
The OnePlus 16 is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. Its display could also reach 185Hz in supported games. The phone is tipped to pack a large 9,000mAh battery. It will reportedly support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
For photography, the OnePlus 16 is expected to feature a 200MP main camera. The sensor will reportedly measure 1/1.4-inch in size. The rear camera setup could also include a 50MP ultrawide camera. A 50MP periscope telephoto camera is also expected.
The periscope camera is said to use a 1/1.95-inch type sensor. The source also described the phone’s design as “quite stylish.” Previous reports have pointed to a 6.78-inch display. The panel is also expected to offer a “1.5K” resolution.
On the software side, the OnePlus 16 is expected to run ColorOS 17. The software will reportedly be based on Android 17 from launch. If these specifications are accurate, the OnePlus 16 will bring several major upgrades. Its large battery, high refresh rate, and camera hardware stand out among the leaked details.
