The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro has been officially introduced in China with major changes in design and performance compared to earlier models. The company is also restructuring its tablet lineup, which now includes different Pad 3 versions for China and global markets.
The OnePlus Pad 3, released in China at the end of 2024, differs from the global OnePlus Pad 3 launched in mid-2025. Meanwhile, the newer OnePlus Pad 4 has now become the foundation for the newly announced Pro model in China.
The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro features a 13.2-inch LCD display with a 3392 x 2400 pixel resolution. It comes with a 7:5 aspect ratio for better productivity use. In addition, the screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 540Hz touch sampling rate. It can reach up to 1,000 nits of brightness. Moreover, it supports Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid for improved video quality and color accuracy.
OnePlus has also added stylus support for writing and note-taking. The tablet can convert handwritten notes into tables and mind maps using AI tools. For users who need more input options, an optional keyboard case is available. Furthermore, the device includes eight built-in speakers for a more immersive sound experience during media playback.
The tablet packs a large 13,380mAh battery. It supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. OnePlus claims the battery can last up to 25 episodes of video playback on a single charge. For comparison, the China version of the OnePlus Pad 3 had a 9,520mAh battery. The global model came with a 12,140mAh battery. The OnePlus Pad 4 also carries the same 13,380mAh capacity but supports 80W charging.
The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. OnePlus says it delivers a 52% higher AnTuTu score compared to the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro and the global OnePlus Pad 3. Both of those models used the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The new chipset also brings a 20% boost in CPU performance. In addition, the GPU is 23% faster while using less power. Earlier, the China version of the Pad 3 used the Dimensity 8350 processor, so the performance jump is even larger this time.
The device is available in Dark Brown and Light Green color options. In China, it ships with a charger and a USB A-to-C cable in the box. However, OnePlus has not confirmed global availability yet. Still, the Pad 2 Pro did launch outside China, so a wider release remains possible.
The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro comes in three storage variants. These include 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. Pricing starts at CNY 4,400 for the base model. The mid variant costs CNY 4,900, while the top model is priced at CNY 5,400. In conversion, the base model costs about $650, £495, €570, or ₹61,500. The tablet is currently available through the Oppo online store in China.
