Oppo is expanding its flagship ambitions beyond China. The company has confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will launch globally later this year. Notably, it will become the first Ultra model in the Find X lineup to debut outside its home market.
The Find X9 series currently includes two smartphones, the Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro. Earlier this month, Oppo also revealed that the Find X9s will arrive soon in India. That device will run on the Dimensity 9500s SoC, signaling a broader push across key regions.
Now, Oppo is raising the stakes with the Find X9 Ultra. According to the company, the global debut reflects its long-term commitment to international markets. This move shows Oppo’s intent to compete more aggressively in the premium smartphone space.
A major highlight of the Find X9 Ultra is its camera system. Oppo co-developed the imaging setup with Hasselblad. The company claims it integrates the most advanced imaging system Oppo has ever built for a smartphone.
Although Oppo has not shared detailed specifications yet, it is positioning the device as a serious camera contender. The company describes it as “built to be your next camera.” It also says the phone is designed to deliver professional-grade imaging performance within a flagship smartphone form factor.
That message aligns with Oppo’s broader strategy. As more brands use the “Ultra” label, differentiation becomes harder. Elvis Zhou, CEO of OPPO Europe, addressed this directly. He said that in 2026, many devices will carry the “Ultra” name. However, he stressed that the title must be earned.
“With Find X9 Ultra, we are setting a new benchmark for mobile imaging,” Zhou said.
For now, key hardware details remain under wraps. Still, the global rollout signals confidence. If Oppo delivers on its camera promises, the Find X9 Ultra could become a serious challenger in the premium Android segment later this year.
