Oppo appears ready to push camera hardware to new limits with its upcoming Find X9s. Fresh leaks suggest the compact flagship will focus heavily on photography, bringing a setup rarely seen in this size category.
Back in December, a tipster claimed the phone would carry dual 200MP cameras. Now, the new source has repeated that claim. According to the latest leak, the Oppo Find X9s will feature a 200MP main camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. If true, this would mark the first time a compact smartphone offers two 200MP sensors.
In addition, the device is said to include a 50MP ultra-wide camera. That detail stands out. Even the higher-end Find X9 Pro does not offer dual 200MP cameras. As a result, the Find X9s could become the most ambitious camera device in the lineup.
The rest of the hardware also sounds strong. The Find X9s will reportedly feature a 6.3-inch display. It may run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500+ SoC. The phone is also rumored to pack a 7,000 mAh or higher capacity battery. Wireless charging support is expected as well.
Moreover, Oppo could equip the phone with slim display bezels and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The device may also include a multispectral lens. An IP69 rating is rumored, too, which suggests strong resistance against dust and water.
Oppo is expected to unveil the Find X9s in China in March. Until then, these details remain based on leaks. Still, if the reports prove accurate, the Find X9s could set a new standard for compact camera phones.
