Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has integrated with the National Database and Registration Authority’s PakID Mobile App, allowing users to complete mandatory biometric verification remotely instead of visiting a NADRA e-Sahulat Centre in person.
The integration covers PSW subscription, subscription renewal, and profile updates, all of which previously required physical biometric verification. Users can now complete this step through their smartphones, subject to applicable NADRA verification requirements.
The change is expected to particularly benefit overseas Pakistanis involved in trade-related activities, who can now complete PSW biometric verification remotely without needing to visit a center in Pakistan.
To ensure continuity for the business community during the transition, both verification methods will remain available for an interim period. Users may choose to verify biometrics digitally through the PakID Mobile App or continue visiting NADRA e-Sahulat Centres as before.
PSW Chief Executive Officer Syed Aftab Haider said the integration reflected the organization’s commitment to responding to the needs of the PSW community in Pakistan and abroad. He said enabling remote biometric verification removed another physical step from the onboarding process, making the PSW user journey more convenient and accessible.
The integration removes the last remaining physical requirement in the PSW subscription process, making onboarding fully digital. PSW said the move was part of its broader effort to expand digital solutions and improve accessibility for businesses and overseas Pakistanis engaged in trade.
