Pakistan and Sudan have signed a visa-free travel agreement allowing holders of official and diplomatic passports from both countries to travel without obtaining visas.
The agreement was signed by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Sudanese Interior Minister Lieutenant General Babiker Samra Mustafa Ali. Both ministers described the development as an important step towards strengthening bilateral relations and facilitating official exchanges.
Under the agreement, Pakistani and Sudanese citizens holding valid official or diplomatic passports will be eligible for visa-free entry when travelling between the two countries. The arrangement is expected to make official visits and government delegations easier while creating opportunities for greater institutional cooperation.
Sudan’s interior minister said the agreement would further strengthen friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries. Both ministers also reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral ties and improving cooperation in various areas.
The agreement currently applies only to official and diplomatic passport holders and does not announce visa-free travel for ordinary passport holders.
