The government has launched a free vocational training initiative aimed at equipping young Pakistanis with industry-relevant skills and improving employment opportunities in the livestock sector.
The program is being implemented through a collaboration between the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission and the Livestock Exporters Association of Pakistan, with support from the Special Investment Facilitation Council and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program.
Under the initiative, participants will receive three months of free hands-on training in high-demand livestock and allied industry fields. The program is designed to enhance employability and create sustainable income opportunities for young people.
Training Courses
The available training programs include:
- Assistant Slaughterer/Helper (Level-II)
- Fish Farming
- Cold Chain Management and Export Logistics Certification Practices
- Meat Processing, Value Addition, and Preservation
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 40 years of age
- Have at least middle or matric-level education
Training sessions will be conducted in Mardan and Peshawar.
Registration Deadline
Officials have urged interested candidates to apply quickly as seats are limited. The last date for registration is June 16, 2026.
The initiative is part of broader government efforts to promote skill development, strengthen the workforce, and connect youth with employment opportunities in growing sectors of the economy.
