They posed as agents of reputable cable companies, especially those like Xfinity and others. They would phone people and tell them there were issues with the accounts, which would make the targets feel that they had to do something.

Once they had the victims on the phone, the scammers told them they needed to reset passwords for Xfinity accounts. This enabled them to get personal details. After getting this information, they demanded cash for services that never existed making their victims pay for services that were never to be rendered.

The scam has been very profitable, bringing over $30,000 each from the people living abroad each month. The money is shared equally among four shareholders; Hassan, Yasir, Ahmed, and Huzaifa.

The video captured all these scammers in action, showcasing real-time CCTV footage of them impersonating customer care services of foreign cable companies.

This particular case demonstrates that North Americans are still susceptible to fraud from other nations, including organizations like Synapse Digital Pvt Ltd. People should not fall victim to these frauds because they must be vigilant.
