A Pakistani-founded artificial intelligence startup, Virtuans AI, has been acquired by US-based automotive AI company AutoAcquire AI in a seven-figure deal, marking a rare acquisition of locally built AI technology by an American firm.
In an exclusive confirmation to TechJuice, the founders said the acquisition closed less than two years after Virtuans AI’s launch and confirmed that both will take on leadership roles at AutoAcquire AI as part of the agreement.
Virtuans AI was co-founded by Pakistani entrepreneurs Raheel Ahmad and Muddassar Sharif and develops autonomous conversational AI agents for sales and customer support. The platform replaces repetitive human workflows and enables businesses to manage customer interactions, qualify leads, and respond across multiple communication channels.

Built by Pakistani engineers, the system combines deep native integrations, an agent-based interface, and reinforcement learning that allows the AI to improve performance over time. It also supports more than 40 languages, enabling deployment across global markets.
The acquisition strengthens AutoAcquire AI’s efforts to modernize how automotive dealerships in the United States source vehicles. The company is building an AI-driven platform that connects vehicle targeting, pricing offers, inspections, logistics, and fraud protection into a unified workflow designed to improve efficiency at scale.
While financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, the deal stands out in Pakistan’s startup landscape. Acquisitions of product-led AI startups founded and built in Pakistan remain uncommon, particularly where core intellectual property is developed locally.
Virtuans AI’s exit highlights the growing capability of Pakistani founders and engineers to build globally competitive AI products, sending a clear signal that technology developed in Pakistan can attract international acquirers and leadership opportunities beyond services-based outsourcing.
