Pakistani students seeking to pursue a Master’s degree in Switzerland can apply for the UNIL Master’s Scholarship 2027 at the University of Lausanne, which offers selected international students a monthly stipend of CHF 1,600.
The scholarship is open to outstanding international students who completed their previous university education outside Switzerland. Around 10 scholarships are awarded each year, with recipients also exempted from standard course registration fees. However, students must still pay a semester fee of CHF 80, and the university has clarified that the stipend does not fully cover living expenses in Switzerland.
Applicants must hold a foreign university degree considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Lausanne and demonstrate strong academic performance. They must also meet the admission and language requirements of their selected Master’s program.
Candidates are required to submit two recommendation letters along with their application. The scholarship covers most Master’s programs at UNIL, although several programs are excluded, including certain degrees in medicine, education, health sciences, law and other fields.
Applications for the 2027-28 academic year close on November 1, 2026. Students must complete the scholarship application online and submit all required academic and supporting documents before the deadline.
