Pakistan’s esports star Arslan Siddique, famously known as Arslan Ash, has relocated to Japan to sharpen his competitive edge while continuing to represent his country. The move comes as he aims to compete at the highest level in fighting games and maintain a strong international presence.

A press release from Japan on Monday confirmed that Arslan has chosen the country as a central hub for his next phase of competition. The Tekken 7 and Tekken 8 champion has signed with Global Agency Co., Ltd., which will provide agent services and player management across the Asia-Pacific region. Japan is expected to become one of his main bases as he participates in international tournaments and connects more closely with the competitive scene.

In a statement included with the release, Arslan Ash explained that his decision was driven by practical factors. Japan offers convenient access to tournaments, a stable and safe living environment, and consistent opportunities for high-level practice. He also plans to continue traveling between Pakistan and Japan for events and appearances.

Arslan Ash first captured global attention in 2019, delivering breakthrough wins that put Pakistan’s esports scene on the world map. Since then, he has become one of the most decorated Tekken players globally. He holds seven Evolution Championship Series titles, earned across multiple editions and regions, solidifying his status as one of the all-time greats in fighting games.

His success has continued with Tekken 8, including headline victories at major EVO events in 2024 and 2025. Arslan also claimed the Tekken World Tour Finals title in 2023, an achievement widely regarded as one of the toughest in competitive Tekken.

Arslan Ash is positioning himself for the next chapter of his career while staying connected to his roots in Pakistan. Fans can expect to see him competing at top international tournaments.
