Passport delivery counters across Pakistan will remain open every Saturday to facilitate citizens in collecting their ready passports, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports announced.
According to the department, passport delivery counters will operate from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays. The special weekly service will continue for two months.
Citizens will be able to collect their ready passports on Saturdays, providing an additional option for applicants who cannot visit passport offices during regular working hours.
The Director General of Immigration and Passports advised applicants to take advantage of the Saturday facility and collect their passports on time.
The department also urged citizens to collect their ready passports promptly, warning that passports remaining unclaimed for more than six months may be disposed of in accordance with government policy.
The initiative aims to make passport collection more convenient for citizens across the country.
