The federal government has increased petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) prices for the sixth consecutive day, pushing the price of petrol above Rs. 380 per litre.
According to the latest update from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 4.42 per litre to Rs. 380.24, while the price of high-speed diesel has risen by Rs. 6.10 to Rs. 409.42 per litre.
The latest increase follows a Rs. 5.02 per litre hike in petrol prices on September 11, when petrol reached Rs. 375.82 per litre. Diesel was also increased by Rs. 5.28 to Rs. 403.32 per litre.
Since the government introduced daily fuel price revisions, petrol has increased by Rs. 68.94 per litre, while diesel has become Rs. 79.91 per litre more expensive.

The latest adjustment marks another sharp rise in fuel prices within a short period, increasing transportation and operating costs for consumers and businesses across the country.
