ISLAMABAD: Government and private medical and dental institutions have introduced stricter academic requirements, setting a minimum attendance threshold of 90% and a passing mark of at least 70%.
The newly implemented regulations aim to elevate the standards of MBBS and BDS programs, aligning with the latest academic policies. Under these updated guidelines, the attendance requirement has been raised from 74% to 90%, while the passing marks have increased from 50% to 70%.
These changes mark a significant shift in medical education, ensuring a more disciplined and rigorous academic framework for the upcoming academic session.
