The Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITeS (P@SHA) has announced results of its Central Executive Committee (CEC) elections. The newly elected members will serve from 2026 to 2028, following voting on September 17 at polling stations in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
The 12 elected members are Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan (CARE Pvt. Ltd.), Faisal Kamiran (ADDO AI), Khushnood Aftab (Viper Technology Pvt. Ltd.), Mohammad Zohaib Khan (A2Z Creatorz), Muhammad Azam Mughal (SecureBeans), and Samad Saleem (Digi Trends Pvt. Ltd.). The list also includes Syed Junaid Ahmad (Softoo Pvt. Ltd.), Ahmed Javed Vaseer (Ing.Com Softworks Pvt. Ltd.), Shaikh Ayaz Ali (KNOATIV), Wahab Yunus (Eraflip Tech SMC-Pvt. Ltd.), Fatima Asad-Said (Abacus Consulting Technology Limited), and Shawana Iftikhar (Work Generations Pvt. Ltd.).
The committee comprises seven members from the corporate class, three from the associate class and two on women reserved seats. Dr. Shoab Ahmed Khan and Mohammad Zohaib Khan are both former P@SHA chairmen. Once the elections conclude, CEC members will elect the association’s chairman, senior vice chairman and vice chairman.
The results are provisional. The final results will be announced at the P@SHA Annual General Meeting on September 30, 2026.
The elections follow a leadership dispute within the association. On August 28, the Directorate General of Trade Organizations (DGTO) declared the no-confidence resolution against Chairman Sajjad Mustafa Syed null and void and restored him as chairman for the remainder of his 2024–26 term. The regulator ruled that the motion, which received eight votes, fell short of the required three-fourths majority of the 12-member CEC.
