Pakistan’s Telecommunication Authority suspended Fiber 2 Home’s license on August 26, 2026. The company failed submitting audited accounts and paying regulatory dues for three consecutive years. PTA issued an enforcement order under Section 23 of the Telecom Reorganization Act.
Fiber 2 Home must comply within one month or face automatic license termination. The company operates licenses issued in 2012 and 2018 under permanent suspension threat. PTA directed all other telecom licensees to immediately suspend services extended to Fiber 2 Home.
Regulatory violations span financial years 2023, 2024 and 2025. Companies must submit annual audited accounts, auditor certificates and reporting packages within 120 days of year-end. Fiber 2 Home ignored this requirement consistently across three fiscal periods.
PTA repeatedly requested compliance through multiple communication attempts. For 2023, letters went out September 28 with reminders October 16 and November 29. The company provided no response or payment to either notice.
Similar patterns emerged for 2024. PTA issued correspondence September 30 followed by reminders November 18 and January 8. Fiber 2 Home again demonstrated complete non-compliance with authority directives.
The 2025 financial year followed identical trajectory. PTA issued letters October 17 with subsequent reminders November 25 and January 26. The company maintained its pattern of total regulatory disregard.
PTA issued a show-cause notice March 4, 2026 demanding immediate account submission and full payment. Authority scheduled hearings May 14 and July 15 for company response. Fiber 2 Home neither responded nor appeared at either proceeding.
Beyond unpaid regulatory dues, Fiber 2 Home faces late payment additional fees. Regulations impose 2% monthly penalties on outstanding dues from due dates until payment completion. Three years of non-payment accumulates substantial additional financial obligations.
PTA served all notices at addresses provided and maintained by the licensee. Despite proper service procedures, Fiber 2 Home failed demonstrating any communication or compliance effort. Authority proceeded ex-parte based on available administrative record.
The enforcement action represents escalating regulatory pressure within Pakistan’s telecom sector. PTA maintains strict accountability standards for license holders. Failure to comply with fundamental financial and reporting obligations triggers swift action.
Complete compliance within 30 days remains Fiber 2 Home’s only path toward license preservation. The automatic termination provision eliminates any further negotiation opportunity.
