Pubg Mobile Introduces Winter Mode With Snow Slippery Terrain Gameplay Twists

The upcoming 4.1 update of PUBG Mobile, expected mid-October, will bring Winter Mode to the game. Fans can expect layering snow, changing terrain behavior, and facing challenges with new environmental dynamics.

Here’s what players can expect: Maps will be blanketed with snow, affecting visibility and movement. Surfaces may become slippery, making traversal harder and vehicles trickier to control.

In contrast, snow-covered roads can also let you drive faster, but with a higher risk of losing control. During snowfall, visibility drops, forcing players to rely on close range weapons, thermal scopes, and terrain advantages like high ground.

Some avalanches could block paths or become strategic obstacles. Experts advise players to use white outfits for camouflage, watch for snowmobiles, and stick to mid to close engagements until conditions clear up.

The beta for Winter Mode is slated to drop today (October 10), with full release expected by late October or early November. Two premium items to keep an eye out for: Glacier SCAR-L skins and Mythic Forge outfits.
