The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has launched the NextGen Safety App, a new digital platform aimed at improving the safety, security, and well-being of young people across Punjab.
The initiative has been introduced under the youth-focused programs of Maryam Nawaz and is designed to provide quick access to emergency assistance, professional guidance, and various safety-related services through a single mobile application.
According to PSCA, the app enables users to seek immediate help during emergencies and access support services more efficiently using their smartphones. The platform aims to simplify communication between citizens and relevant authorities while enhancing response times in critical situations.
Officials said the launch is part of broader efforts to leverage technology for public safety and empower young people with convenient access to protection, guidance, and assistance whenever needed.
The authority added that the app reflects Punjab’s growing focus on digital governance and citizen-centric services, particularly for the province’s youth population.
The NextGen Safety App is now available for download on both Android and iOS devices, allowing users to access its services directly from their mobile phones.
