US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $110 million in net inflows on Monday, recovering some losses after investors withdrew $774 million over the previous two trading sessions.
According to SoSoValue data, the latest inflows came amid continued volatility in Bitcoin prices and weakening market sentiment. Despite the rebound, US spot Bitcoin ETFs remained in negative territory for October, with net outflows reaching approximately $202 million through Monday.
Bitcoin was trading at around $79,595 at the time of publication, down 2.6% over the previous seven days, according to CoinGecko.
Market sentiment also weakened, with the Crypto Fear & Greed Index falling to 48 from 50 a day earlier, although it remained in the neutral zone.
Meanwhile, CryptoQuant data showed a shift in Bitcoin deposits to Binance. Retail investors’ deposits nearly doubled to $10.8 billion over 30 days, while deposits from large holders declined to $3.8 billion.
CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost suggested that smaller investors might be using the recent Bitcoin price rebound as an opportunity to sell, indicating continued uncertainty in the cryptocurrency market.
