Athletes from remote and far flung areas across Punjab will now be able to register for the CM Punjab Youth Games through a new online form developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board.
This was announced by DG Sports Punjab M Tariq Qureshi during a meeting held at the National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
The meeting was called to review preparations for the CM Punjab Youth Games and to finalise the framework, registration process and overall operational strategy for the event.
Qureshi told participants that the Punjab Sports Department is working in line with the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab to promote sports culture, widen participation opportunities and support youth development across the province.
The new online registration system is designed to make it easier for athletes based in remote regions to take part in the games without facing logistical barriers.
Officials said the tool reflects a broader push to make the event more inclusive and accessible for young participants from all parts of Punjab.
The meeting was also attended by Director Admin Abid Shaukat and Deputy Director Zahoor Ahmed, who took part in discussions on the operational planning of the event.
