The Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA) has announced seven contract-based vacancies in Lahore and Rawalpindi, offering monthly salaries of up to Rs. 480,000 for experienced professionals.
The available positions include Director Operations, Deputy Director IT, and five Driver vacancies. Interested candidates can submit applications online through the Punjab Jobs Portal by August 15, 2026. PMA has clarified that applications submitted by email, courier, or by hand will not be accepted.
Director Operations
PMA is hiring one Director Operations for the Orange Line Metro Rail Transit System in Lahore.
The selected candidate will receive a gross monthly salary of Rs. 480,000, inclusive of benefits and applicable taxes.
Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering or Civil Engineering with transportation engineering coursework from an HEC-recognized institution, along with at least eight years of relevant experience. Candidates with leadership experience in public transport projects will be given preference.
The maximum age limit is 45 years.
Deputy Director IT
One Deputy Director IT position is available for the Pakistan Metro Bus System in Rawalpindi with a gross monthly salary of Rs. 325,000.
Candidates must have 16 years of education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution and eight years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure deployment.
Preference will be given to applicants experienced in preparing technical specifications, procurement documents, and contracts.
The maximum age limit is 45 years.
Driver Vacancies
PMA has also announced five Driver positions in Lahore with a monthly salary of Rs. 60,000.
- Four seats are available on open merit.
- One seat is reserved under the minority quota.
Applicants must have at least a Middle-level education, a valid LTV driving licence, and four years of driving experience. Retired drivers from law enforcement agencies will be preferred.
The maximum age limit is 40 years.
Application Fee and Process
Applicants for the Director Operations and Deputy Director IT posts must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 900, while Driver applicants must pay Rs. 500.
The fee must be deposited through a Bank of Punjab deposit slip, and a scanned copy of the paid challan must be uploaded with the online application.
Candidates are required to upload their educational certificates, transcripts, experience documents, and fee receipt through the Punjab Jobs Portal. Government employees must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
