Punjab Offers 1,000 New Internships with Rs. 60,000 Stipend for Youth

The Punjab Government has launched an exciting new initiative as part of the Chief Minister’s “Magnificent Punjab” Tourism Internship Program, aimed at empowering the youth and providing valuable professional experience. The program is being managed by the Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism Archaeology, and Museums Department.

This internship program offers graduates a unique opportunity to develop skills and gain hands-on exposure to Punjab’s vibrant heritage and tourism sector.

The internship program offers a three-month duration with a total of 1,000 available positions, starting with the first batch of 250 interns. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 60,000. This opportunity is specifically designed for graduates who are passionate about Punjab’s rich history, culture, and tourism, offering them the chance to gain hands-on experience in these fields.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must possess a relevant degree in one of the following fields:

• Archaeology
• History
• Anthropology
• Architecture
• Forensic Science
• Civil Engineering
• Communication Studies
• Cultural Heritage Management
  … and other related fields (as detailed in the program flyer).
