Punjab Traffic Police has temporarily suspended driving license services across the province as authorities carry out an upgrade of the Driving License Issuance Management System (DLIMS).
The suspension affects several services, including new driving licenses, learner permits, license renewals, upgrades and category changes. Online applications, verification, license tracking and other digital licensing services may also remain unavailable during the upgrade.
City Traffic Police Lahore has advised citizens to cooperate while the system upgrade is underway. The DLIMS platform serves as Punjab’s centralized digital system for managing driving license-related services.
Authorities have not announced a confirmed date or time for the restoration of the affected services. Citizens requiring a new license, renewal or other licensing service are advised to check official updates before visiting a licensing center.
The services are expected to resume once the DLIMS upgrade is completed.
