Qualcomm, a dominant force in the smartphone chip industry, has officially entered the high-stakes data center market with the introduction of its new AI200 and AI250 inference accelerators. The AI200 and AI250 chips are not designed for the intensive “training” of massive AI models, a market Nvidia largely controls.
