Realme appears to be edging closer to a major battery milestone, even as its biggest promise remains unfulfilled. Months after teasing ultra-high-capacity phones, a new leak suggests the company has a 10,000 mAh device ready behind the scenes.
In May, Realme showed a prototype smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery. At the time, the company also said it would launch a 7,500 mAh phone this year. It further confirmed that a commercial 10,000 mAh model was coming soon. So far, however, Realme has only released 7,000 mAh battery phones. These include the flagship GT 8 Pro.
Now, a fresh image by the source offers the clearest look yet. The photo shows an unnamed Realme smartphone with the model number RMX5107. More importantly, it reveals several key specifications tied to the long-rumored battery upgrade.
According to the image, the device packs a 10,001 mAh battery. That capacity is 1 mAh higher than the Honor Win and Win RT, which launched yesterday. The phone runs Realme UI 7.0 and includes 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage. Additional memory options may exist, though they remain unconfirmed.
The source also claims the RMX5107 has received Hi-Res Audio certification. At the same time, the phone is reportedly undergoing approval for sale in Russia. As a result, more official details could surface in the coming weeks. While Realme has not commented on launch plans, the leak suggests the company is moving closer to releasing its largest battery phone yet.
